I can’t do it
Nothing works for me
It feels like I hit a wall and I can’t get over it
I can’t do this anymore
I don’t know how to do it
I can pretty much guess that you’ve been in a situation like that before. If you are not currently in one. This is the “Nothing works for me mentality”. While it is not as dangerous as the victim mentality, I want to tell you something about it so we clear it up. I am doing this because I tend to get a lot of mails into my inbox about this problem. I am not naming anyone here.
If it sounds like you now, you are stepping on a dangerous road. Fortunately, I’ll make it easier for you by helping you change your mentality towards this mindset. In a weird manner, speaking with other people about your inability to progress or move forward, creates a feeling of bond. This is a common shared pain that we all have at one moment in our life.
The change comes easy when you realize that the more you talk about it, the truer it becomes. The more you solidify this mentality, the harder you get rid of it. The change happens when you stop thinking like this. The change happens when you take advantage of what you know now. When you stop taking the position of a beat up person and start fighting it.
The easiest way to do this is to fight your way through it. Question it. Analyze it. Deconstruct the belief. How can you do that?
Fixing The Mentality
It’s simple. You just have to question it. How do you do that?
By putting yourself these questions:
- Am I doing everything I can to make this diet and training program work as intended?
- Am I giving my full attention and effort for the entire period of this program?
- Am I getting lazy or skipping a training day, a planned meal, or anything that has to do with the diet and/or training program?
If you question this belief like I just showed you, it has no chance to stand against your answers. You will feel what you have to do instantly. Every worry you had until now will go away. But you must answer these questions objectively. Tell yourself the truth. Don’t let your own feelings towards your actions get in the way of reality.
If you do this right, you’ll find the main reason why you failed until now. The reality is there’s nothing out there that can stay between you, and the body of your dreams. If you are consistent with eating the right foods, train, track your calories and get enough protein, you will succeed.
Consistency, is the ultimate determinant of whether you’ll go towards your dream body or you’ll drift towards failure. Achieving your goals is a matter of staying on the right track by keeping yourself motivated, and doing the right things.
You do this by constructing healthy habits. You do this by defining a specific goal. A leaner body, a more muscular body, or whatever. You do this by getting conscious about a realistic timeframe.
The Permanent Lean Body Transformation Program will work for anyone. But it will only work if you stay consistent with it. By avoiding negative feedback cycles. You do this by putting effort and work in what you are doing.
There’s no shortcut to greatness
If there’s any trace of this negative mindset in your life, I would like to hear about it. I’ll read and reply to your comment. I want you to answer these two questions:
- Do you remember a time in your life when you got stuck with the “nothing works for me” mentality? Can you tell us more about it? (doing so, you deconstruct it and make sure it doesn’t reach you anymore in the future)
- What are the effects of this mentality on your motivation, mood, the ability to stay focused on a diet and training program? (How does it impact them)
