Before I tell you what T.M.I. is, let’s see if this sounds familiar to you:
When you read, you organize your articles, resources, bookmarks, and you read… You won’t stop there… then you read some more…
I know I did this often in the past. But if this sounds like the current you, then you are probably suffering from “Too Much Information”.
“The person who reads too much and uses his body too little will fall into lazy habits of delaying his path to a great body..” – Marinas Florin (you can tweet, share this if you think it’s good).
Anyways, the point I want to make is simple and you’ll get it in a moment. I am an information junkie. I always was. I like studying everything about nutrition and training. I did it daily for the past 6 years. I know…
It sounds a lot, but it really isn’t.
My T.M.I. Experience
I even kept a word document with notes I took over the years about muscle gaining routines, research reviews, the latest fat loss trends, exercise science…
But I was still not seeing results… It was so frustrating. Why wouldn’t my fat go away?
As I extended my knowledge on nutrition and training, I found out how little I know…
It is like a mind trap. A tree that grows branches continuously…
You read your first book (you can consider it the tree trunk), and you start growing branches. For example, if you read about fat loss, you’ll hear the words supplements. You’ll get into reading about supplements. After you finish reading about supplements, you might hear about different ingredients like amino acids. And so on…
I was a perfectionist. Always trying to find the “magic” routine, the magic food or pill that would take me towards better results. I started seeing real results when I stopped reading too much and started applying what I knew. I started getting results when I focused on one piece at a time. One small step ahead every day.
You might be tempted to try and learn as much as possible from as many sources as possible. Was there. Done that. There’s nothing wrong with learning new stuff. But if you are like me, obsessing over the best diet or training program can lead you try something new every single day.
And, of course, as you jump from one idea to another, you will simply NOT see results. The reality is that acquiring a ton of knowledge isn’t what transforms your body into what you are looking. This was my realization after years off reading and acquiring a ton of knowledge. This was the trigger I’ve been waiting for to finally make a change for the better diet and training wise, by changing my mindset.
If you want to experience positive body transformations like you see in fitness magazines, forums, or Youtube, you must first change the way you think. If you still drift from one diet or training to another, nothing will change. You will keep jumping from one idea to another, and you won’t see the results you are after.
Inside the next lessons, you will discover destructive mindsets that can delay or even stop your progress. Each lesson will give you the solution for getting your diet and training on a consistent path towards the results you desire.
The Change You Will Make
“Nothing Changes Until You Change Your Thoughts.”
Inside my 25 habits to amazing fat loss and muscle gaining book that I will offer you for free (you can get it from the sidebar), you will discover good habits that you should create whenever you are dieting or training.
I challenge you to DO IT! I challenge you to apply these habits daily. And I promise you will get real results. If you just downloaded the book and you’ve thrown it somewhere on your phone or hard disk, you’ll never act upon it.
Download my guide and practice the tips I give you, daily. Download it, consume it, practice it daily. Refresh these 25 rules into your mind every day. Maybe take a piece of paper and note them down.
And remember this: You are not broken!
EVERYTHING you’re struggling with is fixable. As you’ll find yourself agreeing with me in the next emails, please take this into consideration:
YOU’ve taken the first step in overcoming failure by recognizing and fixing each problem you have… As you undo the mindsets that are holding you back, you will be able to take better decisions on a daily basis. Ultimately, these decisions will take you from where you are today, towards consistent fat loss and muscle gaining in the next 30 days.
At this stage, you are obviously interested in learning what’s holding you back. I want you to make a note somewhere. You can even write it down:
“If you don’t take action on what you learn, you will continue to fail and suffer the consequences or a negative mindset.”
Action Steps For Today
